Apocalypse Ave
May. 9th, 2006 | 11:35 pm
She could have probably dealt with the dead boy.
But her?
Nuh uh. No way she could stay, now.
And so Rita went home and packed all the rest of her things, leaving a note for the roommates with some cash to cover rent through the end of the month:
Boys -
I'll miss you, but I have to go.
Look me up if you're ever in Londom.
Kisses!
~ Rita
With a toss of dust into the fireplace, she was gone.
[Rita's gone, yo. You can defriend if you haven't already. I won't do anything with the journal, so don't worry if you don't. :) I'll miss her. *hugs everyone who made her time here so fun*]

Office Hours - 05/04
May. 4th, 2006 | 01:50 pm
Rita was in her office, attempting to finalize the grades for her advanced class. There were boxes strewn about the room, all half-full of clutter.
If it looked like she was packing, well, it's because she was.
[Here for someone in particular, but anyone can come bug her!]

The Logan House omg
May. 1st, 2006 | 10:34 pm
After finding a bag of goodies from Josh, Rita was very pleased.
The first part of the potion had been brewing for the neccessary time. This couldn't have come on a more perfect day! It was radio day! The perfect day to...see if this particular potion worked with muggle substitutions.
Rita moved her supplies out to the front and began to mix it, looking for anyone to test it on.
[locked to someone omg.]

Very Special Office Hours
Apr. 29th, 2006 | 08:34 pm
Rita was tucked up in her office, grading.
And okay, maybe she was a little late. Since she hadn't graded, erm, anything since the start of the semester.
She was also fratically going through her files for any information on the boy who had appeared in Journalistic Integrity the day before.
[here for all Rita-annoying needs.]

Apocalypse Ave, the dorms for a wee second, and beyond, omg!
Apr. 26th, 2006 | 12:20 am
Rita packed a small bag, and left a note for her housemates on the strange box in the kitchen that kept things cool.
( To the Housemates )
She then wrote a second note, and with a tap of her wand, made a duplicate.
( To the TAs )
Because God knows, she can’t be arsed to write two notes.
She quickly apparated outside the dorms, and swiftly stuck the notes to the doors of rooms 306 and 230.
Then she walked out of the building before she had to see any of those nasty little children, and as soon as she had cleared the school, she apparated back to her house, and with a dash of Floo powder into the fireplace and a shouted command, she left for London.

Rita's wee attic room (Apocalypse Ave.)
Apr. 24th, 2006 | 10:53 pm
Rita sat on her bed drinkinating and painting her nails doing important work when the owl flew into her room.
Well, to be fair, the owl flew into her window. It wasn't a particularly intelligent owl.
She flicked the window open, and after passing off a few knuts into his pouch, took the ( letter )
Rita dropped the letter, staring in horror.

In a hallway, just after classes
Apr. 20th, 2006 | 02:02 pm
Rita was wandering along, looking through her post.
Subscription to Witch Weekly, postcard from her brother...another letter from the Ministry.
She sighed, and kept walking as she sifted through the mail.
[Here for specific people, but really, anyone can run into her if they'd like.]

Office Hours - 04/13
Apr. 13th, 2006 | 05:05 pm
Rita sat in her office, eyeing her correspondance.
Ms. R. Skeeter:
We've heard reports of some unauthorized magical use, and while Fandom is considered a safe zone, like any magical institution, we are forced to inquire as to why there is such a frequence of human/animal transfiguration, particularly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays...
She read through the letter from the Ministry, rolling her eyes, and finally tossed it onto her desk with a frustrated, "I don't know!"
And then she was very damp, and green.
Woe.

Rita was reading a newspaper in her office, eyes darting to the door every few minutes as she waited for a student to arrive.
[For something specific, but Rita's door is (metaphorically) open to anyone! And just go ahead and make your own OCD threads saying when you came by.]

Door's open, though.
[No OCD threads - I AM SO, SO SORRY for not getting this up sooner. Minor RL crisis in the form of family traumatizing me via bridal wear. Yeah. Better not to ask, really.]

Journalistic Integrity (Wednesday, February 22 - 6th period)
Feb. 22nd, 2006 | 01:55 pm
There was a box on Rita's desk, labelled "Quills."
"Good afternoon, boys and girls," she said pleasantly. "If you'd like to keep your quill, you're welcome to. But please, for right now, I'd like you to stand up and tell the class what kind of an experience you had with your quill this week. Was it interesting? Did the quill reflect your thoughts accurately?" She carefully didn't look at Callisto's seat. "Did you learn to always provide a nice canvas? Share with us all, please."
[ooc: Yup, will be available for interaction tonight. Talk amongst yourself for now, omg.]

mood:
forlorn
Rita was depressed.
And camped out on the couch with her entire stash of firewhiskey, reading. Sort of.
Because Valentine's Day? Really, really bloody depressing.
[ooc: Open to all residents, omg!]

Journalism Classroom - midday, Sunday
Feb. 12th, 2006 | 10:46 pm
Rita sat at her desk, filing her nails as she waited for her assistants.
There were piles, and piles, and piles of messily stacked papers on the floor of the room.
Callisto and Krycek were going to be put to good use. As would the closet. Hee.
[ooc: Locked to Rita and her TAs, yay!]

Rita was in a bad mood as she thumbed through books on muggle music.
Bothering her might be a bad idea.
Especially if you are John Crichton or one of her TAs.

OOC: Quick note to everyone in Journalism and Journalistic Integrity
Jan. 23rd, 2006 | 11:55 am
I know I forgot to specify this before, and it's come up a few times in the past couple days:
If you forget to post in class, I'm more than happy to let you post in there until the next class session.
Any later than that, and it kind of gets ridiculous. (Advanced kids - you guys can have until the weekend to post, okay? Since your class goes two days consecutively.)
I think this is fair, especially given that I actually have a student in one of the classes, and thus forget to post her in there because I get caught up teaching. And just so you know, I'm going to actually be harder on Rory than I am on the other students. Just in case there was any question of the ethics of teaching my own character.
You may all go back to your regularly scheduled crack now.
